Actuarial services

AMI for actuaries (Actuarial management for IORPs).

AMI is an actuarial tool specifically developed by Conac for actuarial calculations related to pension funds, taking into account Belgian prudential legislation, as well as for actuarial computations required for IAS/FAS/IFRS/etc. reporting. This tool is used for all types of pension plans (DB, DC, CB, etc.) and for various components such as retirement, death, disability, etc.

Conac uses a single actuarial tool per client that covers all underlying processes related to actuarial calculations — including IAS/IFRS obligations, service cost assessments, provisions, solvency margins, coverage ratios, and future cash flows.

Conac ALM

Conac ALM provides full stochastic modeling for risk assessment and Asset Liability Modeling (ALM). This investment model is an effective tool that offers insight into how returns and prices of various assets—or asset classes—can impact the funding of a plan.

Pension administration

Pension Manager for the Internet (PMi)

Pension administration is carried out in PMi, software developed internally by Conac. In this software, we can program different pension schemes and establish databases to manage the individual information of members and their beneficiaries. Subsequently, pension calculations and payments are made.

PMi is a strictly secure straight-through processing (STP) web application, tailored to the specific characteristics of each pension fund. On the input side, PMi integrates the employer’s personnel policy with the employer’s payroll administration and the data received via Sigedis push messages. On the output side, PMi generates communication documents for members, payment files, social and tax declarations, Sigedis declarations, exports for actuaries, reinsurers, and the Benefits Online (BOL) application.

Almost the entire pension administration is automated, including letters, pension statements, calculations, payments, processing of Sigedis push files, Sigedis declarations, and social and tax declarations.

Accounting & Reporting

Kluwer Fund Manager

Kluwer Fund Manager is a software application specifically developed for pension fund accounting in Belgium.

Kluwer Fund Manager is also used for reporting the securities portfolio to the ECB/AEAPP (Automatic Reporting of the “List of Assets”) and for reporting annual accounts to the Financial Services and Markets Authority (FSMA). Kluwer Fund Manager is perfectly suited for accounting for portfolio transactions: inventory, calculation of capital gains and losses, calculation of dividends, calculation of interest, etc.

Kluwer Fund Manager also allows for the generation of numerous exports (PDF and Excel) for analysis or audit purposes. All these operations can be carried out automatically via this tool.

 
ClearFacts and Peppol

We are currently ensuring compliance with the European e-invoicing obligation via the Peppol network by 1 January 2026. To achieve this, we have chosen ClearFacts as the link between the client and our accounting software, Kluwer Expert/M.

HR Communication

Benefits online (BOL)

BOL is a user-friendly online platform that provides a secure communication environment for members of a supplementary pension plan. PMI, our pension administration software application, feeds BOL with the necessary data, ensuring that we work with accurate and up-to-date information.

With BOL, participants can view, print or download their pension data and annual pension statements. They can also view and download documents such as pension regulations, GDPR communications, transparency reports and news items.

BOL also offers the possibility to provide individual simulations, such as gross-net simulations or simulations following the introduction of a new pension plan. This tool can be used to record choices made by participants, such as in a cafeteria plan.

Governance management

Governance Manager

At Conac, we understand the importance of transparent and effective communication within pension funds. That’s why we developed Governance Manager, an advanced communication tool that optimally supports the internal communication of your pension fund.

With Governance Manager, you have user-friendly access to general information, official documents, and reports related to your pension fund. Our web application is not only designed for pension fund administrators but can also be used by other stakeholders such as compliance officers, risk managers, certified commissioners, or internal auditors, each having efficient access to information based on their authorisation.

The security of Governance Manager is crucial. Our system uses role-based authorisation, meaning that data access is determined by the user’s profile. Additionally, strict authentication is ensured by our certified and logical access process, guaranteeing the permanent protection of your data.
