As an Analyst, you act as the link between the client and IT. Your responsibilities include:

  • You will contribute from start to finish to the customisation of our internally developed application, based on the specific requirements of the client.
  • You analyse the client’s needs and are able to ask the right questions in discussions with users in order to translate business requirements into a clear and detailed functional analysis that can be implemented technically.
  • You structure, outline and model the client’s request into clear functional requirements. Based on your analysis, programmers can start the actual development work.
  • You develop test scenarios in collaboration with the client.
  • You support business projects across the different departments and propose optimisations and improvements.
  • You support the operational activities of our Pension Administration department. You monitor data quality and calculation results, and you are also responsible for carrying out certain more complex operational tasks.
Do you recognize yourself in this profile ?
  • You hold a master’s degree in a field with a strong quantitative focus, such as mathematics, physics, civil engineering, business engineering, actuarial science, economics or a similar discipline.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Experience in the insurance sector is an asset.
  • You are Dutch-speaking or French-speaking and have a basic knowledge of the other national language. Knowledge of English is an asset.
  • You enjoy working with figures, data and Excel, have strong analytical skills and are able to think abstractly.
  • You are communicative and sociable. You are able to share your ideas with others in a clear and structured way.
  • You are able to contribute to the management of new cases.
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and are able to handle assignments independently. Organizational skills and the ability to manage priorities are important in this respect.

Under the guidance of a Senior Actuary, you will actively contribute to various projects for pension funds and large companies:

  • You are the main point of contact for the client and you are responsible for:
    • The actuarial management of pension funds (actuarial valuations, reports, advice, funding follow-up, …);
    • IFRS/IAS calculations and reporting;
    • High-level analysis of client-specific changes;
    • Process documentation.
  • You provide consulting to clients on:
    • The Funding Plan, SIP, ALM, continuity test, reinsurance, …;
    • The design of pension regulations and the implementation of new pension plans;
    • The impact of new pension legislation, FSMA circulars, …;
    • M&A.
  • You provide a critical analysis of business processes.
Do you recognise yourself in this profile?
  • You hold a Master’s degree in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics, Applied Economics, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • You have between 6 and 10 years of experience.
  • You have a strong analytical and critical mindset.
  • You are communicative and have strong interpersonal skills. You can convey your ideas to others in a clear and structured way.
  • You are a strong team player and enjoy working with colleagues from different departments.
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility and are able to handle assignments independently. Organisational skills and setting priorities are key.
  • As a consultant, you can build a relationship of trust with clients and you adopt a customer-oriented approach in every aspect of your job.
  • You are fluent in Dutch and have a good knowledge of French.
