At Conac, we not only offer local and independent expertise in (supplementary) pensions and fringe benefits for companies in the Belgian market, but we also create solutions that have a real impact. Whether we work with companies that originated in Belgium or with multinationals operating here, we always strive to provide our clients with innovative, tailor-made solutions based on internally developed IT platforms and certified processes.

Expert and reliable

Conac’s clients are company, professional and sectoral pension funds, as well as pan-European pension funds. Most of Conac’s clients are large, well-known companies with more than 400,000 employees in over 70 different pension schemes.

We are very proud of our 45 employees who put their diverse talents to work for our clients every day.

Since 2011, Conac has been awarded the ISAE 3402/SOC 1 (formerly SAS 70) Type I certification every year, which means that in addition to a detailed description of the operational processes and control points per process, the existence and operational functioning of the controls are also tested in detail. Given the importance of the GDPR (also known as the General Data Protection Regulation), Conac has also been ISAE 3000/SOC2 certified since 2021. This certification covers confidentiality, security, availability, integrity of data processing and information protection.

Conac is a one-stop shop based in Brussels, with comprehensive expertise in actuarial services, risk management, accounting, administration, statutory management, governance, IT and services related to IORPs.
Conac can provide all services (actuarial, accounting, administration, payroll) without resorting to subcontractors, including payment management, withholding tax, tax returns, etc.
Conac has documented processes. The application of the four-eyes principle and the separation of duties are guaranteed by ISAE 3402 certification covering eight business processes and six IT processes, issued by a Big Four accounting firm. Our tools meet professional quality requirements, which are verified by the risk management function under IORP II.
A very stable shareholder (AG Insurance), which actively invests in Conac. Conac operates as an independent entity providing services to pension funds and employee benefits schemes.
Conac manages data in client-specific databases and will never share data it manages on behalf of the pension fund with external parties (including AG Insurance) unless expressly instructed to do so by the pension fund.
Security meets the highest standards, as AG Insurance hosts Conac’s entire IT infrastructure and is also responsible for IT security. AG Insurance is ISO 27001 certified. AG Insurance is the market leader in Belgium in insurance and, in particular, pension solutions. They manage a total balance sheet of €75 billion.
Conac relies on tools (software) that it has developed in-house for its services.
Conac has access to AG Insurance’s expertise, particularly in the areas of employee benefits, GDPR, actuarial science and risk management.
Conac has access, through Abelica Global, to an international pool of pension fund services. In this regard, we have a good and regular working relationship with all partners within Abelica Global.
Conac employees undergo continuous training and, through their participation in sector-specific working groups, are kept up to date with current regulations and emerging trends.

At Conac, we are proud of our team of around 45 employees, who put their wide range of talents to work for our customers every day.

At Conac, we work in five departments, and the distribution of staff in each department reflects our ability to respond effectively to our clients’ needs:

Pension fund management support (4% of employees).

Our clients

Conac’s client portfolio consists of company pension funds, multi-employer pension funds, sectoral pension funds and pan-European pension funds.

Most of our clients are leading multinational companies with globally recognised brands. Out of respect for the confidentiality and discretion we guarantee our clients, no names are mentioned on our website.
